What You’ll Do

As our Catering Coordinator, you’ll be the backstage powerhouse ensuring every event hits the right notes!  You’ll support our Catering Managers, keep communication flowing, and help deliver flawless group and guest experiences, all while keeping an eye on budgeted sales and profitability.

Responsibilities

Your day-to-day rhythm includes:

  • Mastering tools like Microsoft Excel, Word, and Daylight to keep operations running smoothly
  • Answering phones with professionalism and personality
  • Assisting with banquet event orders, resumes, faxing, and administrative tasks
  • Communicating key details for all sales and catering group business
  • Sending out essential hotel reports, including daily and 10‑day updates
  • Representing the Catering Department at community events
  • Promoting positive guest and team relations
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, hazard‑free workspace
  • Tackling additional assignments as needed—because the show must go on

 

Qualifications

 

What You Bring

  • 3–5 years of hotel administrative experience (management experience preferred) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to our vibrant, high‑energy culture
  • A collaborative spirit, teamwork is the heart of our performance
  • A passion for delivering exceptional service in every interaction

Compensation: $32 p/ hour
